Teaching Experience
I have extensive experience of the ITT programme both as a subject and professional mentor. As Key Stage 4 coordinator at Cheadle Hulme High School, we have achieved outstanding results of 93% A*-C for English in the past year. I teach across all 3 Key Stages, specialising in English Literature at A Level, which has allowed me to curriculum plan and consider transition between each stage of learning.
SLE Experience
I have facilitated and liaised with a wide range of colleagues from other schools and supported them in the delivery of English, particularly at Key Stage 4. I have coached and developed staff in specifications, Controlled Assessment, literary texts and exam skills. I also have a broad knowledge of a wide range of exam boards for GCSE having taught and planned a range of schemes. As an outstanding practitioner, my teaching has also been observed by colleagues across and beyond the alliance.
