Teaching Experience
Since joining Gorsey Bank, I have taught across the Primary age-phase and have worked extensively on the development of teaching and learning in English to improve pupil outcomes and raise levels of attainment at the end of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, resulting in sustained outstanding pupil achievement in reading and writing at the end of EYFS, KS1&KS2 for the last 5 years. I have led on Behaviour and Safety across the school and provided training to all staff and governors that builds on our outstanding judgement in this area. More recently, I have worked with teachers to engage with, and have a thorough understanding of, end of key stage assessment.
SLE Experience
I lead on English and Behaviour and Safety within Gorsey Bank Primary School and support local schools in developing and improving upon the assessment of Reading and Writing. I also deliver Middle Leadership training to colleagues from across the local authority.
