Teaching Experience
I have taught English Language and Literature for seven years, having experience ofcoordinating and managing KS3, 4 and 5 English curriculums across two schools. I am a Lead Practitioner in English and have responsibility for T&L at a departmental level together with KS4 curriculum design and QA. Wider school responsibilities include facilitating TLCs, coaching, mentoring (ITT, Schools Direct, NQT) and whole-school training (how to be an outstanding practitioner, differentiation and AFL).

SLE Experience
I have experience as a Lead Teacher working with English departments across Greater Manchester helping to review curriculums, Quality Assurance and Teaching and Learning, providing detailed feedback and measurable action plans to departmental and leadership teams.
I have experience coaching staff at all levels and in providing departmental training on all areas of the English curriculum. I can support new curriculum design, implementation and design of robust QA systems and in training staff to deliver innovative and original English curriculums. I have also run masterclasses with key cohort groups of students (C/D, A-A*, PP) helping to increase outcomes.
