Teaching Experience
Teaching English and Media across the Academy, I have the responsibility for whole school Literacy and more recently through the Associate Assistant Principal role, whole school numeracy.
SLE Experience
I have a passion for inspiring the love of books and raising the profile of Functional Skills so that all learners have the opportunity to maximise skills for their optimum academic outcome. I am responsible for creating outstanding bespoke interventions, leading a team for developing Literacy skills including numeracy, alternative provision and EAL to support trainees, new and existing colleagues in their practice. I have recently completed the MSc in Educational Leadership and Management and am a Teaching Leaders Fellow.
