Teaching Experience
I have been working in Stockport for 12 years and have taught KS3 and 4 French, Spanish and Italian and KS5 Spanish. I have also been Senior Head of House at Cheadle Hulme High School, with the overview of progress and attainment of students in my House and strategic intervention of all Year 11 students. Since becoming an SLE, I have supported subject leaders and MFL departments across Stockport, Tameside, Manchester and Wigan. I have chaired and delivered CPD on the Tameside Languages network which involves specific training geared towards teaching and learning for the new GCSE and A-Levels, and the Stockport Strategic Learning Network for MFL. I have delivered CPD on differentiation, developing cultural literacy (equality and diversity) and MFL-specific pedagogy.
Currently, I am Assistant Headteacher for Teaching and Learning and Professional Learning and Director of Languages.
