Teaching Experience
As an RS specialist, I have experience of leading a team of RS teachers, particularly non-specialist teachers of the subject. I have experience in supporting teachers across the authority who teach RS as a non-specialist in order to improve behaviour and discipline in the classroom. I also am also subject leader for Citizenship and PSHE.
SLE Experience
I have supported schools across Stockport with behaviour and discipline which is specific to Humanities lessons. I have used questioning techniques to highlight how behaviour can be improved in the classroom.
Through my work as a hub and network leader I have enabled teachers to develop ‘behaviour for learning’ in the classroom. I regularly respond to requests for support from various teachers across the LA and Greater Manchester.
