Cheadle Hulme High School is celebrating after being named one of the top ten schools in Greater Manchester, in the Real Schools Guide.

The guide, which is released annually by the Manchester Evening News, examines the data on every state-funded secondary school in the region, providing a comprehensive insight into how each school is performing, over and above that of league tables.

It takes into consideration not only GCSE results and Attainment 8 scores, which measure the achievement of students across eight different subjects, but also looks at factors including pupil-teacher ratios, progress and outcomes.

Cheadle Hulme High School has performed consistently well across all of the categories, achieving five stars for attainment, progress and attendance and performing well above the national average.

More than 50 data points are evaluated as part of the Real Schools Guide. To see a full breakdown of the data visit https://bit.ly/3eBrXbC
