Year 7 scientists staged their Science Poster Fair this week, filling the school hall with clever and informative designs.
Themes explored included space, pollution, aerodynamics and quantum physics. Some groups’ work asked questions such as is there alien life? Is there lightning on other planets or how do things fly while another looked at the science of mental health.
The overall winner was Arham Rasheed with his poster which explained in detail the history of finding the smallest particle. Second place went to Sabella Dosil Lamela and Matilda Corazzo for their alien life poster and Lizzie Ruddy won third prize with her poster describing the effects of pollution on the planet. Well done everyone!
