We are proud and pleased to support the Friends of Thorn Grove Park as they work to rejuvenate the green space next to Cheadle Hulme High School, at the top of Woods Lane.
Students held a non-uniform day recently and raised £300, which has now been donated to the Friends Group to help with improvements to the park.
The aim is for Thorn Grove Park to become a well-used green space for the local community to enjoy, with a planned upgrade to facilities including play equipment and seating.
Cheadle Hulme High School’s Head Boy Tom & Head Girl Flora visited the park last week to find out more about the project and to present the school’s donation to the group. The school now also plans to work on other projects with the Friends Group in the coming months.
