Information about exams at Cheadle Hulme High School and Sixth Form

During their time at Cheadle Hulme High School and Cheadle Hulme Sixth Form, our students will sit a range of external examinations and assessments. This page contains the key information for students and their parents/carers, alongside supporting documentation.

Results Days – Summer 2026

Results day arrangements are sent home during the Summer term

  • GCE Results: Thursday, 13 August 2026
  • GCSE Results: Thursday, 20 August 2026

If a student is unable to attend on Results Day, they may either:

  • Provide the school with a stamped addressed envelope (SAE) to have their results posted, or
  • Authorise a third party to collect the results on their behalf.

    Please note: This authorisation must be signed by the student, not a parent or guardian.

Certificate Collection Information

  • General Certificates:
    Exam board certificates are typically received by the school in early November. Students will be contacted during the Autumn Term with details on how to collect their certificates.
  • Year 9 Languages Certificates:
    These certificates will be retained by the school until students complete their GCSEs in Year 11.
  • Keep Certificates Safe:
    Certificates should be stored securely. Replacements can be costly, and you may need them in the future as official proof of qualifications.
  • Lost Results & Certificates:
    Should you lose your exam certificates or results, the information found here will be helpful.
