The National Consortium for Languages Education (NCLE) has launched Language Educators Online (LEO), a new CPD platform designed specifically for Languages teachers.
LEO is a free, flexible online space that supports professional development at every career stage, whether you are new to teaching languages or have many years of classroom experience. The modular platform enables teachers to reflect on practice, build confidence and develop knowledge, skills and understanding in languages education.
Language Educators Online (LEO) is a free online CPD platform for Languages teachers.
Developed by the UCL Institute of Education and funded by the Department for Education, LEO brings together national and international expertise, including contributions from organisations such as the Goethe‑Institut. It also introduces the latest thinking and innovative approaches, including the use of artificial intelligence in the Languages classroom, helping teachers to motivate and engage students and improve learning outcomes.
