Sixth Form Open Evening

Our Open Evening will take place on Thursday 5th November 2026, from 6pm to 8.45pm. We warmly invite prospective students and their families to come along and find out more about our Sixth Form ahead of applications for Year 12 entry in September 2027.

We are delighted that you are considering Cheadle Hulme Sixth Form for your post-16 studies.

All students who apply are invited to attend a consultation meeting with a member of our senior leadership team. You will be given the opportunity to discuss your current progress, Sixth Form subject choices and future aspirations. A conditional offer of a place in the Sixth Form will be issued following the consultation meeting and you will also be invited to attend our Induction Day.

Final registration takes place on GCSE results day. At any point leading up to this date, please continue to discuss with us any questions or issues which you might have. Please email [email protected].

Admissions Timeline

  • November – Sixth Form Open Event takes place and the admissions process opens
  • December – Application deadline
  • December / January – Consultation meetings for CHHS students
  • January / February – Consultation meetings for external applicants
  • February – Conditional offer letters issued
  • February / March – Deadline to accept offers
  • August – GCSE Results Day and Sixth Form registration
  • September – First day of Sixth Form
