It was a huge achievement for the boys to be crowned NWCSL Champions for 2023/24 – winning the league for the very first time in CHSF history!

Mr Lawton, Teacher of PE, said:
“The team have gone from strength to strength this season, and have played high quality football throughout to secure the league title. It provides a great leaving experience for our Year 13 students who will be moving on, but with plenty of Year 12s in the team, it is also a great platform for next year in all competitions. I am immensely proud of the team and what they have done this season”

Team CHSF have had lots to celebrate this academic year.

As well as winning the NWCSL, they competed in the Greater Manchester County Cup Final and the National Cup, finishing as one of the top 32 teams in the country!

We’re delighted to celebrate the CHSF football team’s success, they have worked incredibly hard throughout this year and the win is well-deserved.

We wish our Year 13 leavers all the best of luck in their future sporting endeavours, and look forward to seeing our Year 12s play again in the next season!
